‘Qiao’ means ‘bridge’ in Mandarin. This theory of building connections between subjects has been fortifying itself, and eventually led me to the design world. It became my manifesto for exploring more coalescences. It is inevitable for me, or anyone else, to see possibilities between one subject and another. I make stuff and melt boundaries using not only my Macbook, but also a pen, a band saw, a grinder, a throwing wheel, and more.
By making connections in between, I cross the bridge between problems and solutions, message and results, practices and answers.
